Getting back on your feet is no easy business. A significant roadblock in the road to a more productive and socially interactive future is the lack of structure that accompanies homelessness. Wandering and wondering what is going to happen, with nowhere to call home, takes a physical and emotional toll. A little structure to your day ​ goes a long way cutting a path to a better tomorrow. ​

A community is only as strong as its weakest members. Whether you are homeless; on a fixed income; suffering from illness or calamity; the rest of us have a responsibility to step in if we can, to make our community a better place for us all to call home. So whether it’s a homeless friend mowing the lawn of a arthritic resident on a fixed income, or a wealthy businessman donating to clean up the beach, we all work together to make our city the place we’re proud to call home. ​

Accountability is the only way this endeavor will work.That's why we have an amazing team of local business and community leaders on our board. That’s why every job has a project manager on site the entire time, responsible for coordinating the labor and communicating with the recipient. And each and every worker is screened and hand selected by the project manager for each project.

Why do we exist? - It’s right there in our name; “From the Homeless”​

• We exist to facilitate work, service, and support from the homeless of Laguna Beach, to the rest of the city.
• To give the homeless a daily structure and pathway to build a productive and hopeful life, with reliable oversight from local community leaders and on the ground project managers and volunteers.
• To provide a safe and engaging avenue for local families and businesses to work alongside and encourage Laguna’s homeless friends in their journey.​
